Where in the Bay Area ?

Congratulations to our winner, Alyson Goulden, for spotting the Pulgas Water Temple in Redwood City in the last issue of the BayGeo Journal. Alyson grew up in Portola Valley, CA and used to take bike rides with her family during 'Bicycle Sundays' along Cañada Road to the Pulgas Water Temple. She currently lives and works in San Francisco as a designer at Sherwood Design Engineers, a site civil engineering firm that specializes in water management strategies, green building design, and urban planning.

Ready for the next contest?

This is a spot where I (the editor) have taken my family on many a Sunday. The views are phenomenal and it's equally gorgeous on cold winter afternoons or sunny summer days. Parking can be tricky on holiday weekends, though.

Identify the name and location of the coastal feature in this image and send your answer to journal@baygeo.org. One lucky winner will be randomly selected from all correct entries received by March 31, 2018. The winner will receive a BayGeo t-shirt and be introduced in the Spring 2018 issue.
